THE RETREAT
Silence, Mother Nature, Peace.
Picture walls of stone aged by the centuries. Fresh and cozy rooms filled with ancient and exotic furniture. Gardens of manicured lawns and olive trees. The scent of lavender and rosemary filling the air. A swimming pool kissed by sunlight. Numerous paths running through woods, down to the stream in the valley below. Aperitifs sipped on a verandah watching the setting sun. Candle-lit dinners, and calm nights under a star filled sky. All around, just beyond a crown of hills stand Umbria’s many cities of art, abundant in their treasures, their elegant shops and traditions. So near, so far away...
Beautiful yoga room surrounded by woods and equipped with sound system, mats, belts, blocks and blankets.

ACTIVITIES
Umbria is a paradise for nature lovers. Your hosts will be delighted to point out the many quiet paths and by-ways waiting to be explored in the valley surrounding the Locanda del Gallo. For those wishing to explore further there is a selection of mountain bikes at your disposal. Possible excursions include the medieval towns of Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, Todi and Deruta, where you will learn about ancient life, experience the places touched by Saint Francis, see a ceramic and glass making demonstration.

MEALS
Vegetarian and local cuisine for your enjoyment.

WEATHER
Best months are May, June, and September. The retreat is not open to yoga groups in July and August.

ACCOMMODATION
There are:
- 4 twin or double rooms with private bath
- 1 double room with private bath
- 6 double rooms with shared bath (one bath every two rooms)
